Mahira Khan Is Representing Pakistan for the First Time on the Cannes Red Carpet & Slaying It

While we have all been getting awed by our homegrown stars walking the red carpet this year, there's another desi girl who has been low-key slaying Cannes. We are talking about Pakistani superstar and the Raees actor, Mahira Khan.

This is Mahira's first time attending Cannes, and she is seriously handling it like a pro.

Just take a look at the gorgeous outfits and her absolutely graceful pose on rocks, in heels.

She has picked a mix of international and Pakistani designers to craft her looks.

Mahira is L'Oreal Paris's first representative from Pakistan, and the first Pakistani to attend the event as a beauty ambassador.

She has said she hopes her appearence can bring Pakistan on to a stage where it hasn't been before.

With her natural luminous skin and gorgeous waves, she has been keeping her beauty look simple nudes.

She literally showed up to rule in a set of designer pyjamas. That's how chill she is keeping it.

She also kept the desi love alive, in a lovely pastel saree by Karachi based designers Menahel and Mehreen.

She made her first red carpet appearence last night in a classic look.

She picked a black gown by designer Alberta Ferretti, a red carpet favourite.

And paired it with a classic red lip and Chopard jewels.

She even made some time to hang out with co-attendee Sonam Kapoor.

For the after party look, she looked absolutely amazing in barely-there makeup.

And a killer body-con sparkly gown by one of her favourite designers, Nicolas Jebran.

She's getting ready to rock one more day at Cannes, and honestly, we are really glad.

For the day look, she opted for a lavender gown by Dubai based couturier Maisonyeya, along with bespoke Chopard diamond studs, designed especially for her.

We can't wait to see what she picks for her second red carpet tonight, where Sonam will also be walking.
